About our group
The Genome Databases Group provides biological database tools and resources to
the research community.
We are part of the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at
Princeton University.

- SGD: as the "SGD Princeton Colony" we collaborate closely with the
SGD group at Stanford University and contribute to the larger SGD
project, focusing in particular on the collection, annotation, and display of
functional genomics data sets.
- SGD Lite: we built a lightweight version of SGD, called SGD
Lite, to provide SGD in a freely available database system
(PostgreSQL) using a generic genome database schema (GMOD). We are
also in the process of collecting and annotating all publicly
available functional genomics data sets; these are available for
viewing, sorting, and
downloading.
- BioPIXIE: we collaborated with Olga Troyanskaya's lab to
develop a functional genomics data integration and visualization
database, a tool for discovery of interaction networks and pathways.
- BioGRID:
we are collaborating with Mike Tyers' group at the Samuel Lunenfeld
Research Institute, Mount Sinal Hospital,
University of Toronto on an effort to curate all available
interactions from the yeast literature.
- Comparative Genomics Tool: in development
